HI Shout Out Thread: Mine Goes to mq13

Thought it would be great for us to send out some shout outs on here, for all the awesome people that make this hobby a better place! Anyone is welcome to comment and share your stories of the fantastic HI community. I’ll start this off!

I could list a ton of people on here from over the years, and today my shoutout goes to Mark (mq13). There are plenty of people in this hobby that go above and beyond, and he is one of them. He offered to be a US mailbox service for me a while back, saving me countless dollars on having to pay the crazy shipping fees to cross over the border to Canada. And since beginning to receive the help, it’s made it that much easier to grow my Iginla, Backlund, Hamonic, and Flames collection! He does it for the love of the hobby and it’s community, and I think it’s important for people like this to not go unnoticed. Hats off to you Mark!

(I would post some photos of the cards I’ve received, but now that tapatalk is no longer a free app, I’m not sure how to post photos anymore)

Mine goes to Quincy

Figure I open this thread up again and shout-out another very helpful member - Quincy.

A few weeks ago a John Gibson Complete Jersey from ITG showed up on eBay, and I was shocked as I've never seen it before and very surprisingly didn't have one in my PC. I knew it had to be mine, but I had to jog around the expensive shipping as the seller was in the US.

In comes Quincy to help me out with his contact in the US, and long story short the card now sits beautifully in my PC.

Mine goes out to the 10-15 people who were a part of the Beckett Exodus. Never has there been a better group and in fact, I’d count all of them amongst my closest friends in the hobby.
