Hey guys, I put up my first high-end card on ebay, and i got a email from a guy that whats me to pull it from ebay and sell it to him.. I am not sure what to do, as i not qutie sure what the card would sell for, and there are already bids on the card so i am guessing it would not be the right thing to do..

any ideas? what would you do... any help appreciative

Thanks
Justin.

I guess it depends on the card and what price they said they'd give you. Is it close to what you wanted?

I end auctions sometimes if price is good. But normally let them run.

How many people are watching it? That is a good indicator. If it is a good high-end card, you may miss out on the last minute bidding frenzy if a lot of collectors want it. A lot of people set snipe bids that bid in the last 10 seconds. Could get a better deal by letting the auction run. But you do save the auction fees by ending early, too.

A lot of factors to weigh before deciding.............good luck!

p.s. Love the card in your SIG!!!!!!

Thanks for the info.. one of the problems is that the user never gave me a price, he said that he would make a deal from what i wanted, but that also causes a problem for me because there is no "book value" on the card as it is limited to 10, also this card has two very nice patches on which again incress the value on the card. as of now there as been 2 bidders and 2 watchers on it and i only posted late last night, so feel that i am best off telling the user that i am not ending the auction and to feel free to place a bid on auction...

A little photoshop and i got a nice 1/1 for my SIG!!! HAHA Thanks.

Generally, for myself anyway, if a card already has bids on it, I just let the auction run and ask them to bid liek anyone else. More politley of course. To me it is more of a fairness thing, though some may tend to disagree and I have no problem with that. Everybody does there own thing and I am unsure there is a right answer.

If I could find a hardcore kessel collector and he was apart of hobbyinsider...;) i'd sell it to him. especially if it is one he has been looking for:| PM Sent

This is exactly what i was afraid of.. giving someone the shaff who is willing to match or even pay more for the card then the other guy.. this is why i am going to let the auction run and hope for the best!!

Hello.

We've sold quite a few items on Ebay, think we have around 4000(ish) feedback. We hardly ever end auctions early. It's only fair to other potential bidders, that you let your auction run if theres any bids on your item. Thats just the perspective that we have on it. Gotta make it fair for everyone ;)

Cheers,
Eli

although, if anyone had a stansty card of the same, I would end the auction for an even swamp:D :D
