Just won the above auction - of course - I did not quite see that it said cash only. But I will do my homework first and probably find someone that lives there to help me finish the sale. Yes, I know that if it walks like a duck and quacks......... But I will be quite diligent.

So - anyone on the Boards want to get a free card - or a little $$ to help complete the sale???

And if you check out the rrest of his auctions - there are some steals - if we ever get them.

Saw them... but the prices are way too good to be true (for me anyways)... no description, no pictures... and cash only?!? :confused: Good luck! I hope you get the card.
 
Yeah this guy has a ton of patch rcs at really low prices, but no pics, not even color descriptions.. and then CASH only?? Nah I'll pass, better safe than sorry!

Bruce - Relax... I wasn't implying that at all. Just not even worth my time to do the legwork following up on this guy before even sending the money.

Just curious - because the I see that mobaysue bought 2 items from the seller back on 08/19/04. Do you recall that transaction at all - if you are mobaysue?????

i purchased 5 sp auth patches(& received them) from him in the summer,but there were scans & he took money orders.
i hope that helps
 
There's no shortage of guys from Halifax on here.....myself, Rodney (Iceman), Wes (greatdeals2bhad) and Fritz are all from the area....we got your back...;)

Bruce - Yes, that is my username. Now, I recall the seller as well. However, he was accepting paypal and money orders at the time. No way would I have sent cash anywhere.
 
See guys - I KNEW I would find some back watchers on this Board!!

It was part of my plan from the start!!!!
He will take money from someone - or he will probably be cancelling a whole lot of ebay auctions once all the good traders start inquiring around town - LOL.
 
Rob beat me to it, was gonna mention rodney, then again I dunno if he could watch your back, he may be to lazy ;) anyway hope you get your card, if I had the cash I'd buy off him, his feedback doesn't need to be in the 500's for me to buy off his feedback percentage it looks good to me, and whats wrong with cash only? I guess he should also do money orders maybe he needs cash fast, that could also be why there "steals". People will pay more if its buyable paypal and maybe he knows that so he put the BIN cheeper...
 
MIGHT be nice stuff.....or it could be all one color patches......I don't know any locals who have stuff like that....it's a fairly small hobby community around here. If someone had a large amount of those SPA Patches, and they were nice ones, I'm sure I would have heard about it...then again, could just be an underground collector, meaning he doesn't really frequent the shows and stuff....after all, pretty much the only way to get high end stuff like that is from eBay...nobody around here really deals in it....especially the two local hobby shops...they concentrate on wax only for the most part
 
Man I wish he had a picture of them, that Lupul is almost begging me to buy it! But I would be uber ticked off if it was one color!
 
I just bought the SOTT Triple Heatly,Comrie,Iginla. I also asked him about a money order. Please let me know when you guys make any projress.
