If you're talking about UD1: Walmart will have a sale sometime between now & Christmas. That's the best time to buy the product, IMO.
You won't be able to pull the big hits (Patches, other case hits, are not in retail) but you'll pull YGs at the same rate... for a much lower cost.

If you're talking about this year's cards. The price will depend a lot on how Pettersson and the Canucks keep doing. Last year really didn't have a big rookie and retail boxes (which are the equivalent of 3 blasters) are on sale for $40 cad. The Matthews and McDavid retail boxes are $100+

Retail 24 packs boxes from past years are discounted. UD 1 17-18 for 44CAD is decent value.
