Hockey cards by the pound

do someone have a clue about how many regular hockey cards there is in 10 pounds?

When I mean regular, I mean no GU or plexiglass auto.

my guess around 2500 ,cause i have a box full and it feels about ten pounds

~12 cards = 1oz

16 oz = 1lb.
