My son is in evaluations right now (really? this age?)... so I told him the Flames were too. Then I heard the camp this weekend was open to the public, so we went down this morning to catch the game Red vs. White. Red had Monahan/Gaudreau/Ferland, White had Bennett/Gio/Dougie. Looks like they want some toughness on the Johnny/Sean line... let me tell you, they looked good, Ferland seemed to work with them well. Maybe a sign of things to come? Sean, Johnny and Kenny Agostino scored for Red, Bennett had one for white, not sure who scored the other white goal. Agostino had a real pretty goal. He'll be fighting for a spot. Couple chippy moments, big hits exchanged between new guy Dougie Hamilton and Ferland. They looked to lighten the mood after Hamilton 'accidentally' tripped Ferland and he fell to the ice. He said something, they looked to be smiling. Camp can get chippy. Anyway, after it was over, I said we could go down to ice level, see what was happening, sure enough... some people were lining up for autographs and they came back out for some drills/practice as well. Here's some pictures.
Flames TV guy Ryan Leslie (thanks Ryan!) gave my son a puck... so we had new Flame Dougie Hamilton sign it (no Flames cards for him yet!)
For the players available that we had cards for... Johnny, Monahan, Bennett, Gio... Now I have to get another Bennett OPC rookie for my set, it's ruined, lol. Ah, it was all about him today, glad it's his now.
When I wasn't maneuvering and holding stuff for him... I was able to get some pictures of him with players. Once we met Johnny, we were able to go... his favourite Flame.

Just my son's head, but it was really crazy when Johnny and Sean came out... I'm just glad he was able to get in there and actually hand the card/marker to Johnny himself, he was actually able to get 'thank you' out, lol.
Anyway, great day... I'm glad I'm able to sit down now with a Tim's coffee and type this up... lots of standing. Thanks for the look!
