How do you display your collection? I'm moving to a new apartment and looking for (low cost) ideas.

I'd love to see photos if you have a new display going.

I think one of the lowest cost is a bulletin board and using team set bags with tacks....about the only ones I have displayed are in a acrylic case the patches from 03-04 UD ice(which is perhaps my largest "acomplishment" in my collection)...would not mind adding another for the under the glass autos)...I believe displaycaseart.com is the URL..but is not low cost(they are very nice if sometime in the future you are looking for something better)

I would love to get a nice bookshelf at IKEA or something. Dedicated just to the collection. With small card stands.

I don't display much of my collection, but the bit of it that I do display I have in big book shelves/cases and I bought little stands that are actually for collectible plates. The acrylic case that vegaspuck showed above is really nice looking too.

For people who display cards, are you ever worried about the cards fading? I display very few of my cards b/c I worry about sun damage and fading.

Cheers
Connie

I have store display cases from when they remodeled the store I work at. I have them in the collection room, along with some things stood up on top with tabletop art easels I bought from the local AmVets. The rest of the collection is on racks built in the closet of the room. As for worrying about the sun fading the cards, I have only 1 small window with blinds closed and a old sports banner clothes-pinned over the blinds.

That's what I did at home but I know it might not work for everyone:

That's in the living room upstairs:

@c_bass22. I love all of that stuff. I hope to one day have items like that in my place. i move around too much so once I finally buy a place i hope to have some beauty displays like those!

I custom build my own. If your displaying auto's be sure to use the U/V holders that Pro-Mold has, they have 2 of varing strength & be smart on which walls you use (out of ANY direct sunlight). I cycle different sets up & down on my home office walls.

Here's a few-

Wow some really nice displays. I had a relative make these for me:

Wood and stained to match the end tables etc..

Cards are in a corner where there is little to no sun light. Most of the day the black outs are pulled.

Keep the ideas coming.

I need to get some updated pictures as I've been making additions to the start of my project.... but basically, renovated the basement and am turning it into play room, workout area, man cave type of deal (wifey says put it all down there!). haha. Here is what I started - I've practically got the wall full of pictures (first pic) now and I've added in some other cards and framing around the shelves I built and put onto the wall (second pic). Nothing super fancy, but I cut them out and painted them and I love how it turned out.

Mine is in the bottom of a filing cabinet. Never worried about sunlight or fading. Plus no autos in my son's PC, just GU...
