How long?

Hi.
I have been in the middle of lots of trades.
For some reason some people haven't been getting back to me about the trade. I have some cards tied up in one trade where there is someone else who wants to trade as soon as possible and wants those cards.

So here's my question.... How long do you wait for a trade to happen?

Any imput would be great.

I recognize that. It's rude, better tell you don't want to make the deal then let the other part figure out themselves. Not only newcomers, many of these are seniorhobbyists, grown people and much respected. Doesn't make much sense..

I often wait for weeks, but me thinks 48-72 hours is more then enough to tell you're going away for a few days or it's a no

ill give the person two or three days....along with another PM saying you have other intrest in the card and if you get no response by Day X then your going to open it to offers

Generally, if I notice the other person has been posting in other threads and hasn't replied to me, I will not feel bad about pursuing other deals.

If I have another offer on the table that I'm seriously considering as a backup, I'll inform the original party and usually set a time table for a response. If I don't get a response, then I move on.

If it was me? Im not a patient man, contact the original trade person to let them know and if they come online without a peep to you in a PM, I would then move on. Most people who come online check their PM's first and if they read yours and choose not to respond then tough luck.

As for the original question of How Long? You'll have to ask Giuseffi's sister, I don't like to brag

I just hope when I decide to end a trade and start with someone new, after a week or two, the other person dosen't come back expecting me to still have the cards.
