Howe graded vs non graded

Last week I got this howe for 135 plus shipping,



A day or so the same identical not graded card sales for 350, am I missing something here

Someone was selling a very near set of brushstrokes brown. People went crazy on a few of them. The last 2 beliveau's prior went for 200. This one went for just under 400.

So I bought the ungraded one...

Saw the graded one on ebay, but didn't bother since I don't care for the slab, and like Pacman said there was a near set being sold ending just a bit later, so I was thinking whoever won the graded copy would mean one less interested bidder in the ungraded one and besides I needed quite a few from the guy breaking his set so I would just bid on those. Well, it's a popular set and I guess a lot of set builders had the very same idea so we bid each other up rather insanely.

Oh well, it's a really nice set, and happy to have the Howe and Beliveau off my wantlist even if I paid rather dearly for the privilege.
