COMC package arrived today. I am not going to post all of what I got as it will take some time. BUT I will post these
When they made the David Ayres game dated moment card and I found out he was a Kidney Transplant recipient like myself (it will be 19 years in Aug)
I knew I need a copy of this card. I bought 10 LOL
Once I saw they were going to an Autographed version I made a deal and was able to trade for this
Fast forward to this March
David's wife Sarah saw my instagram post about being a 19 year kidney transplant recipient and she reached out to me and asked me to be part of their 6 degrees challenge and raise awareness for organ donation. I jumped on that chance.
A. to talk to David and Sarah
B. to be a part of something so important to me
We have become messaging pals now (more so Sarah) as they send kidney questions my way.
Anyways sorry for the long winded story just thought it was a cool tie in to a couple of close to my heart cards.
