I can smell a negative coming up

The title of the auction is:02/03 BAP ULTIMATE MEMORABILIA HOCKEY BOX

Description is:You are bidding on a 2002-2003 Be A Player Ultimate Memorabilia Hockey box.


It is ending in 16 minutes from now and is only going for $102. Now me thinking that it is a great deal for a box I ask the seller if it is for a pack or a box(5 packs).

I get the response:
"dont bid on it I just wanted to sell the box alone by itself"

I am a bit confused as to why I should not bid on it and ask them to clarify if it is a box or a pack. I get the answer of:
"I said i just wanted to sell the box that means theres nothing in it"


So now he is selling the empty box of cards for over $100. I got a feeling that someone won't be happy.

Seller put "Nothing inside only bidding on the box itself" in very small print at the bottom of the description.

What do you guys think will happen with this auction? I guess it is descibed in the description. Do you see a negative coming up or will it just slide as someone did not read the description well enough?

It's horrible what he is trying to do but It's also amusing to the third party observer who has nothing involved in the transaction. Come one the first thing I noticed before even looking at the price was the big white space in the description. There is never just white space so I figured there was something else and lo and behold the "truth" was at the bottom. Who's worse the seller or the fool who hastily throws his money at a computer screen.

Yes, I realized it just at the close of the bid. I have contacted the seller to cancel my bid and emailed ebay customer service about this hoax. Thank you for emailing me. Bet you are glad you didn't win this.

What a deceptive piece of trash this guy is. Check out the Hejduk card he has. It's numbered 50/50 and in the description he states "...this is considered a 1/1."

I saw this acution early in the week and I was going to bid on it since it was going cheap, until the end I guess his little scheam worked congratulation.

He did place it in the discription but if you scroll quickly you'll miss it, and if you have poor eyesight, like me , you'll miss it. Sorry this guy is crap.
