I can speak from personal experience and say my family and I are relative nobodies compared to a man of his stature, but he was an incredible human being.
A little over 5 years ago, he heard about something that happened to us through a mutual friend, and invited our family out to meet him. I'm gutted over this, R.I.P. to a tremendous person, and what a sad, sad loss for all the families involved in this tragedy.

The fact that his daughter was on with him, as well as another family (Husband/Wife, daughter) is completely gut wrenching. RIP.
