Emeralds have got to be the most inconsistent sect of the entire hobby.

You'll get emeralds sliding under the radar and getting no bids at just a few dollars. Then you'll get emeralds of common guys hitting 50, 75, 100 dollars, because of a few die-hard collectors.

Strangest yet is that both scenarios can sometimes describe the exact same card!

01/02 Emeralds seem to be the hottest right now, though 02/03 and 03/04 sell pretty well too, usually due to Chrystalee. They don't go after the 00/01 emeralds, though, so those don't usually sell quite as high.

With all the BAP wax hitting low prices, though, the emeralds have been showing up a lot more frequently.

I think Williams playing really well for Porin Ässät in Finnish Elite League has much to do with that going so high. I was looking at the winners feedback and he has bought cards of Scott Langkow and Greg Classen who both also play with Ässät.

Well, I'm glad I picked up the Williams like 6 months ago for like $10 bucks I agree, these Emeralds go for very inconsistent values. People just don't know what to pay for them. Thankfully I haven't really had to "overpay" for any of them yet. Not through ebay, at least

I was hopin to get like $15 - $20 usd, now I'm crossin' my fingers,

Oh yeah, and about offering your second Emerald ( to the second highest bidder). I'm sure chrystalee will take that of your hands. We have dealt with him a few times, and he's one of the best,
