Idea for Jersey/Auto Subset, Fan Faves.

I was thinking how certain players who be received as a "Fan Favorite" subset if it were ever included as a memorabilia / auto subset.

We all know the desire for Felix Potvin stuff, but for example in Philly.. Dave Brown.. Very little exists of him and I think they would be pretty sought after.

In DC, John Druce would be well received

In NY, Mick Vukota for Isles fans. Fotiu for Rangers fans

Obviously not to make 10,000 cards of each but a limited set to 50 or so and to picture on the card why they are fan faves and not just a head shot or a team logo.

Thoughts?

I think this would be a pretty well received auto set, though I don't know that any company would rush out to buy game worn jerseys of these fellows since they'd be stuck with jerseys and logos and such afterwards that they wouldn't be able to do anything with. Even if they did try to liquidate them in packs of UD Series 1 and 2, the last thing we need in an eBay market where you can pick Peter Forsberg jersey cards up for $2 is 10000 Murray Craven and Joel Otto jersey cards popping up from the fallout of the fan favorites set.

Though...wasn't the autograph portion of it the purpose of Franchises?
