Would you cancel the payment? Just curious , paid for an Ebay item on SUnday and the address says unclaimed , and the seller hasnt got back to me. Anyone know what the scoop is here?

I can only think of two things that might cause this. I think it means the payment was:

A. sent to the wrong address.
B. Sent from a credit card and the seller has their account set up as a personal account only.

Don't know what to tell you other than continue to try to get a hold of the seller.

Also if you sent Canadian funds and their pay pal account is US.Or just the opposite. If you sent US funds and their pay pal account is Canadian.Or at least that is the way it is for me.

What happened to me once, I listed on ebay but had a typo in my paypal address on the ebay auction. Couldn't figure out anyway to get payment except to sign up for the "typo-ed" email address and add it to my paypal account.

Buyer said payment was unclaimed and couldn't change where payment was going if they went through the ebay checkout.

It sucked.

Thanks for the responses , the seller is in New Brunswick , still no reply , still unclaimed. Will continue. It was for a box of Ultimate Collection Baseball, so hoping it goes through.

It depends on how there paypal is set up. I used to have my account set up so that I could only accept the payments from people after i looked at them and the shipping was paid correctly. Until i accepted the payment it would show up as unclaimed and was confusing people and sometimes resulting in double payments. I changed my account so that it would automatically accept the payments to avoid the confusion. This could be the case?
