With respect to the hobby only... if you had $1,000 free & clear to spend on ANYTHING you wanted, what would it be? I'm posting this in all sports & non-sports section and some responses might make it into the new HI magazine! Thanks all in advance for your responses!!

I think I would try to get another Dale Earnhardt Sr auto, and maybe a Dale Jr, and Jeff Gordon auto as well. I have the 2000 SPA SOTT Dale Sr already, but there is a sweet Sr/Jr. dual I've seen that would be sweet to own.

Hmm, I'm going to play using the word since instead of it $1000 to spend freely, I would:

Buy a Steen gamer
Pick up a few oddball cards from different sports and non sports
Pick up a few rarer Steen autos


As luck would have it, when I purchased my one and only ever tin of THe Cup back near the end of July, I managed to pull an Uncut Sheet Redemption which reeled in $1600 via Best Offer within a day of listing it. Paypal fees, ebay fees, and the price of the tin later, I was still ahead over $1000, so I'm able to indulge a little on these things My gamer is on the way, and I've already picked up a Razor Cuts Jim Davis auto (Garfield author) and a Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) auto, both of which are very sweet to own. I also bought a Steen's only SHL auto and a Priority Signings with my birthday for the serial-number

Whew, felt good to get a little spotlight action there
