I just booked a trip to Vancouver Jan 21-24 to watch the Blackhawks play Vancouver. we got a sweet deal on the trip and now I am wondering where are all the good shops in Vancouver? thanks for the help

Sorry man, we don't have too many great LCS in Vancouver.

No such thing in Vancouver. I haven't been out there myself to vouch for it, but a lot of other members are big fans of Abby's Sportscards in Abbotsford. (Abbotsford is about an hour away)
I haven't been to store myself, but I have dealt with them at local card shows, and they are great to deal with - the only boxes I've bought at the last 3 shows have been from them.
Also, about 45 minutes away is Pasttime Hobbies and Games which is a decent store and in Langley.

i havent been there yet but i have had nothing but good dealings with jay over at abbysportscards . great person to deal with at the show, so i would think any different at his store.
there is a store in vancouver with decent prices called pro sports cards or wally's as some ppl know it as. its right beside the rogers video and vancouver public library on east hastings (1 block west of renfrew - where the pne is)
also collectors den in lansdowne mall in richmond is a decent shop that i myself visit quite often. prices are a lil higher than other places, but thats because his overhead being in a mall is quite high but the service is great and selection is good
other than those 3 places ive mentioned, there arent really any good ones in or aorund town

Seconding everything Jon just said above, except for Collector's Den at Lansdowne. Daryl and Larry are good dudes, but there's just never anything in stock when I visit. Maybe Jon cleans them out before I get there 
Also...having been to Jason's store in Abbotsford...it's worth the drive if only if you head down to meet Jay. He's a good guy and quite the character. I'm sure if you order some stuff through him beforehand, he might be able to bring it in for you. He's a member here too (abbysportscards)

matt - u COULD b right! lol... collectors den in metro that darryl runs sucks. they never have anything, the ony larry runs in lansdowne,im just usually there when they restock lol
