As many of you may have already heard, the southern suburbs of Buffalo have gotten absolutely gotten destroyed by lake effect snow. Over the past 36 hours, some areas have already gotten 56 inches of snow (142 cm). It has snowed around 42 inches (107 cm) at my house and I am literally snowed in. Wasn't able to leave the house yesterday, won't be able to live today, probably won't be able to leave tomorrow, and might be able to leave on Friday. An additional 2 feet of snow is expected tonight. Before the SnT, here are some pictures from the storm:

First up are some assorted 2013/14 Young Guns (Nichushkin, Huberdeau, Carrick, Boucher, Boucher /100):
Some cheap printing plates I picked up from National Treasures (Oleksiak, Reimer, H.Sedin, Hunwick)
Some random 2013/14 rookie memorabilia autos (Max Reinhart Playbook Booklet, Watson Silhouette, Lindholm TC)
A couple cool multi-auto cards (Arnott/Dumont/O'Reilly Triple SOTT, Johnson/Killorn/Palat/Panik Contenders Quad, Landeskog/Couturier/Connolly Triple SOTT, Redmond/Trouba Contending Classes, Linden/Kesler NT Past & Present):
Some very nice patches (RNH NT Patch, Hiller SPA patch auto, Koivu SPA patch auto, Buff Sig Patches, Howden Hot Prospects)
Two very nice goaltender pickups, I'm a big fan of the 12/13 Dominion RPA design and the 13/14 Prime Colors design (Lehtonen Prime Colors, Rynnas Dominion RPA)
Buffalo Sabres PC
Random Sabres autos for my PC (Gorges, Playfair, Afinogenov, Hodgson)
My Sabres Young Guns, including my "Girgenstash"! I think Zemgus Girgensons is going to be a special player for the Sabres, he is going to be a Cup contender's dream player. I'm always interested in adding more 13/14 Sabres Young Guns to my PC (Girgensons x6, Ristolainen x2, Grigorenko)
A start to my mini Johan Larsson collection. He has been able to get a lot of points in the AHL, but hasn't been able to get many points in the NHL (neither have most of the Sabres). There's one more Larsson pickups towards the end of the SnT
Here's the start of Sam Reinhart collection. I think he's going to dominate the WJC, but not when he runs into Jack Eichel and the Americans on New Year's Eve
Here's the results of a NT group break from August. I'm very happy with the Zadorov RPA. The Design of the National Treasures RPAs is amazing! NT RPAs >>> The Cup RPAs in my opinion
Some more Sabres pickups. Grigorenko has become massively underrated, so I was able to pick up some of his autos for cheap. CoHo has not been playing well lately, so I was able to snag his Dominion RPA /99. I remember when that was a highly sought after card back in 2012. Then I picked up a Sabres patch of Rollie the Goalie, I was ecstatic when I discovered that ITG had a Roloson Sabres jersey because he only spent two seasons in Buffalo
Jack Campbell PC
I have not been picking up too many Jack Campbell cards lately. I tried getting every one of his cards in the beginning of the 2013/14 card collecting season, but I soon realized that was impossible once Totally Certified came out. So I have just been picking up the cards I really like
I love the triple memorabilia cards Panini made with Quick and Beezer. I am also just one card away from completing the SPGU Rookie Fabrics rainbow, I just need the Fight Strap /15 (I saw one copy on eBay and but fell asleep when the auction ended, so that card sits atop my wantlist along with the Score Red Border Hot Rookies)
I won the Newfound Treasures card in frankiefives awesome National Treasures contest! The Between the Pipes patch gives me 8 out of the 19 Campbell silver patches from that year (I also own the gold 1/1 patch)
Here is my Campbell Prizm collection. I am just missing the Frosted Blue 1/1, Finite Base 1/1, Finite Auto 1/1, and one of the the Toronto Expo redemption parallels (cracked ice w/ black outline around "ROOKIE")
High-End Pickups
The Johan Larsson 1/1 is a PC card. I was also able two grab some nice cards of two of my favorite 2013/14 non-Sabre rookies, Brock Nelson and Filip Forsberg. The Tretiak/Larionov/Yakupov auto is pretty awesome and I always wanted to pick up a Tretiak auto. The Henri Richard Tribute Auto is the Gold 1/1 version
TTM Autograph Returns
I sent an 8x10 to one of my favorite all-time Sabres, Mike Grier, and he sent it back with a beautiful signature
I also got a 4x6 and a card back from Cody Hodgson (sent it to him c/o Rochester during the lockout). I think it is awesome when a player sends back an inscribed auto!
Connor McDavid PC
Connor McDavid has been legendary in the OHL this year and will most likely go first overall in the NHL Draft this year (hopefully to the Sabres, but I would gladly accept Jack Eichel). If you live near an OHL arena and have not seen McDavid play live yet, you are missing out. His skill is on another level, I have never seen a player like him before. Unfortunately, he is currently out with a hand injury but he should be back in time to get dominated by the Americans at the World Juniors
First up is a McDavid auto'd 8x10 and an auto'd puck which they were selling for $20 each on the Erie Otters website last year (absolute steal IMO). I am not sure if they plan on selling anymore auto'd pucks online this year, but they sell quickly
I got this team 8x10 photo autographed by most of the players during a post-game team signing event. It is autographed by some great prospects such as Connor McDavid, Dylan Strome, Brendan Gaunce, and Oscar Dansk
And finally a McDavid autographed Erie Otters stick that they gave away with a ticket package last year
