Didn't Madrid have over £100m worth of debt written off by the goverment a couple of years ago ? In which case surely this is dreadful business management and should be outlawed by UEFA / FIFA etc

Yes I agree we need another couple of guys at the back. However, in Florentino I trust. He was the last guy to bring us the UCL so I will stand by his plan. No doubt though, we need another LB/RB and a CB. However Garay is looking like he could be a solid starting CB. I like him but I think we should at least go for Albiol from Valencia.

We also need a player like Xabi Alonso but I don't think we'll get him. It's a shame De La Red has heart problems because he's a solid two way CM.

I'm not sure what goes on behind the scenes money wise but I know Real will make money off of their two newest signings by selling shirts and all that.

Regardless to say, I think its absolutely hilarious how Platini has not done **** about this at all. It adds to my case as to why I think he's a terrible UEFA president. I love how he tried to make the game more "european" by giving teams like CFR Cluj, Anorthosis, and Bate Borisov free passes into the group stage to only see them get destroyed by the big clubs and create unexciting group stage matches. Then he says he's happy to see 3 of the final 4 teams left in competition from England. I'm confused, I thought he wanted more variety of teams from europe in the competition opposed to english domination. He also brought back celebrating in the stands with the trophy which is completely boring and dull. Worst of all, he wanted to keep tradition so he moved the Champions League final to being played on a saturday afternoon.
