In Honour of The AVENGERS movie: Some Amazing and Incredible books!

So as some of you probably noticed, I was purging some of my hockey card collection in order to pay for these... Bought all these in the last 2 weeks.

I've decided to focus my efforts almost squarely and entirely on my comic book collection. These have and always will bring me the most joy. Sadly, they are the more expensive hobby (An Xmen #1 cgc graded a 2 goes for roughly $1,500 fyi). These are the types of things you buy at a slow pace and one at a time otherwise it can get stupid- however in the long run I think it's worth it. I consider them mini trophy's :dance:

My scanners busted so I'll use the ebay scans but here are my latest trophy's that go immediately into the VAULT :giggity:



Batman #232: 1st appearance of Ra's Al Ghul

Amazing Spiderman #14: 1st appearance of The Green Goblin

Amazing Spiderman #129: 1st appearance of The Punisher

Incredible Hulk #181: 1st appearance of Wolverine

and last, but certainly not least... It's not the best grade but its a far more reasonably priced one than what mid grades are getting .... probably the hottest book on the market...




Avengers #1: 1st appearance of the Avengers as a group

What dos ASM #14 go for nowadays. A friend of mine has a ton of vintage Spiderman comics, and I know that one of them is that particular issue.

Graded 7.5 = $875
Graded 7 = $800, $831, $925, $1,000
Graded 6.5 = $725, $730
Graded 6 = $480, $550
Graded 5 = $390, $420, $425, $440, $450
Graded 3.5 = $330

Some great issues there. I still don't have a the Avengers #1 and I will likely wait a ew years haha. Not buying it now as they are way too hot. Have you seen how hot Ironman #55 is now WOW (1st Thanos app). If you see one at a good price in a shop grab it. I bought mine back 10-15 years ago for $7, great deal.
