It's a do over. I read somewhere where Marvel wants to make people think the 1st one never happened it was so bad.
I guess this looks alright. Already better than the last one at least.

Yep, do over. They have gotten a way from the horrible special effects like last time. Hulk vs Abomination "Tales to astonish" #90 & 91 should heat up.

Its starting from scratch however they are not doing the whole origin thing. They will be doing some origin via flashbacks but thats it. They have changed Abomination origin somewhat but not too bad.

I still think Hulk looks pretty bad.
Abomination looks far better than the dogs did in the last one.
Tim Roth and William Hurt are big pluses. Hurt looks like the comic!
Still...a 26 minute fight scene at the end?
I'm thinkin this will be a miss unless I get nagged near death to see it.

For fans its always going to be a problem taking fictional characters from a comic and puttinh it into a movie featuring real people. Fans have to go into the move with an open mind and they also need to remember that the movie producers and writers are also trying to bring in non comic book readers. This has been a problem for years with comic related movies. Comic book readers are bored with the origin and the basic explanations of who and why character got this way whereas its essential for the non comic book fans.

the other thing I like about this is the fact that Robert Downey JR. is playing Banner in this movie. I read that the "intent" is to have cameos of each respective actor in different heroes movie. They plan to make THor, Captain America, and Ant-man, and then cross all the movies over with the same actors to make the Avengers... That would be cool. Oh and not to mention that Sam Jackson is playing Fury In Iron Man...
