Hey Everyone,

Ever since I started focusing on just the early Lindros cards from the Flyers years (90-01), it has become increasingly difficult to track down some of the cards I need. Most of the cards on my wantlist I have only seen in someone elses collection, never available online, and some cards I never seen at all.

In the past month I was lucky enough to come accross fellow HI member Imag who had one card I needed and then helped me track down 3 more.

1997-98 Donruss Elite Status #119 /100

It's only numbered out of 100 but there are 2 lindros cards in the set and I had seen a few of the other ones over the years but never this one.

Next is the 1998-99 Topps Gold Label Class 1 Red /100.

With so many parrallels in Topps Gold Label it makes it so hard to find all of them. Over the years I've seen a few Class 2 Reds /50 for sale and even the Class 3 Red /25, but for some reason never the Class 1 Red /100 untill now.

Next is the famous 1997-98 Upper Deck Game Dated Moments Parrallel.

I remember when these first came out and everyone though they had just pulled and awesome card in every pack b/c so many cards had the "Game Dated" stamp on them. Only after reading in the Beckett that the Parallel was thicker with an Light F/X coating did we all realise that these ones would be next to impossible to find at 1:1,500 packs. I think ebay still uses them as a tutorial on helping collectors determine if the card is a base or a parallel. In all my years of collecting I never knew anyone who had any of them. The only one I knew of was in another Lindros collection. I'm glad to finally add it to the collection after 16 years.

Lastly is another beauty from the late 90's, the 1997-98 Pinnacle Totally Certified Mirror Platinum Gold /30.

I was still pretty young when Totally Certified was first released and only heard about the redemption program for these cards on Forums over the last year. From what I understand the plan was to have the Mirror Platinum Golds in the packs but they were left out. If you wanted one, you could send in your Platinum Golds /69 for the Mirror Platinum Golds /30 (This is for Skaters, Goalies were numbered slightly less). This means that there are most likely less than 30 Mirror Platinum Golds and for sure less than 69 Platinum Golds in existence.

I already had the Platinum Gold for a while and it's great add the Mirror Platinum Gold to finish off the Totally Certified Rainbow.

Thanks for looking,

-Joel

Wow nice cards, they're all rare, but those last two are near impossible finds. I've never seen a Game Dated Moment Hasek or a Mirror Platinum Hasek. Two beautiful looking sets that rarely surface.

Yes those Mirror Platinum are ineed ultra-rare and quite expensive, when I collected Jim Carey and saw a copy of that card but the price tag was at $300 if I recalls right so NO WAY!

Just love all those shiny and SFX-richy inserts/parallels from 90's!

Some awesome 90's stuff right there. I was recently looking through all of my Roy inserts and thought I should really start picking some of them up again. Great show.
