Info About ITG Ultimate Memorabilia

Hi everyone, I don't know if this has already been posted, but Gregg for Leaf Trading cards discusses the new ITG Ultimate Memorabilia in the podcast below. Go to 23:25 for the ITG talk.

Lots of good info there, but WARNING: He mispronounces Georges Vezina's name several times and it's really annoying.

Yes, the Vezina issue is unfortunate but he did say it right at 34:20 or so (and then gets it wrong about a minute later). Interview runs to 38:45 or so.

Nice to hear that they are going to fix the "patch" (vs. prime) issue from Draft Prospects. The main thing I drew from the interview is everything /20 or less. Also, sounds like much more info is coming out in the next couple of weeks.

I've got some other thoughts as well regarding the "partnership" with various statements during the interview, but I'm not going to get into it.

This may sound strange guys, but many of these names while common to me due to their hockey legend, I have never actually heard spoken before! so...give me a bit of time with that, they should all be spelled correctly on the card

LOL, you will never win with this one. There are so many names that are said wrong even by the announcers.

Hey Gregg, no worries. I didn't intend the point of the post to be about the mispronouncing, but you said Vezina a lot. And there's a trophy named after him!

More importantly, it sounds like Ultimate Memorabilia should be spectacular as always, with some new twists. Thanks for the info!

Ha! We Canadians are used to watching hockey group breaks done in the US and see more than a few people have issues with names. I'd have to say my favorite one that I have heard on breakers Tv is

Teemu Hartikainen -- I nearly fell over my chair when I heard how many people butchered that one.

if it makes you feel better, none us can say the European names like our friends overseas. So we are all guilty as charged and have one thing in common. We at least try to say the names LOL.
