Is an "event" patch enough to photomatch a meigray jersey?

Just wondering, in the game used hobby, what the broadly accepted definition of "photo matched" really is?
In particular, when a meigray certified jersey has a patch specifying a specific one time game or event, are photos matching that patch sufficient to consider it photo matched? Or do you need to match a specific stick/puck mark/repair etc. ?

I'd say yes. Those one game wonders always have little to no wear which makes them very hard to photo-match so in my opinion a picture of the jersey with the patch is good enough.

PhotoMatch is some type of wear on the jersey linking it to a picture.. These are pretty definitive.

A THREADMATCH is a match to some type of loose threads, stitch job, or speciality patch. These are not definitive always.

I think what he means is if you know a jersey has, for example, the HOF ceremony patch that was used in 1 game only, could you say for sure? Yzermans retirement patch could be another. Maybe, I think they still make up a couple sets for each event. You'd have to confirm somehow with the team guy that he only made one set. To me, photo matched means a distinct mark, tear or repair that would be only on one jersey intentionally. I only buy from the team or Meigrey, so I'm not too worried, just neat to see.

if the patch is available on ebay & most are, the shirt could be easily faked.
