Is there going to be a Canadian Tire release this year?

I think Canadian Tire and UD had a multi-year contract of somesort, so I would assume they would have another installment this year as well to make it 3 years. I hope they do.

I would say no. If it hasn't been announced yet and with this whole pandemic issue, I highly doubt CT would bother with it this year.

I think it was announced very late last year, so normally I would say there is still hope for a set at this point.

This year is far from normal of course, so I don't see them going ahead with a Promotional release due to the pandemic. I could be wrong though.

I guess that a major part of the decision is about where is UD in the process of making and packaging the cards.

Making the packs available for sale online when buying other stuff from the CT website would be a good way for them to make a bit of money in this crisis.

Very true. I think UD has made the Promotional CT set available online each year they've been in production. So we'll see if they follow a similar model of distribution again this year with Canadian Tire.

I wouldn't count it out...AFTER the acute phase of this has ended and we begin returning to normalcy.

Any news on this years set? Would normally be seeing stuff listed early by the crooked franchise owners by now.
