Is this legit? Patrick Roy Starquest Gold - $1100 CDN

Opened my usual morning update from eBay of Fleury items listed the day before, and was surprised to see a Fleury Starquest Gold. Went to check it out... already sold.

The Fleury and a Ray Bourque were listed at 1am EST for $400usd, someone hit the BIN for both at 7am EST.

I was pretty happy with those sales. I had bought the pair on COMC earlier this year for under $40 total.

I have noticed a real uptick in all of Roy’s 90’s and early 2000’s inserts and parallels.

Stuff that I was able to pickup for $5 is now selling for $30-$50.

Great time to be a seller, not so great for me as the buyer. Lol

We see a similar thing in others sports too. High-grade Griffey Jr UD rookies are going for big money, Michael Jordan 90s inserts, Tiger Woods UD cards, ...

There were a lot of nicely done inserts in that era. Even lower-end products like MVP had some sweet looking inserts at the turn of the millenium. I have a complete 90's Snapshots insert set, and I love how these cards look.

Agreed, the parallels are killing me lately, and mostly just in the last 4-6 weeks. Before that, I was buying them up like crazy.
