I don’t normally break these types of boxes so I wanted to see if this was normal.

2 boxes of 19-20 Upper deck series from an authorized Upper Deck distributor. Between the two boxes, only pulled 1 jersey card, no numbered cards and one common clear cut card. I did pull the estimated 6 YG’s per box.

I get that any box is a gamble but wanted to get your opinion here.

sounds about right.you are not guaranteed anything numbered and with this years offering there aren't many numbered cars to begin with as most of the case hits are not numbered in the insert parallel sets, just thicker stock with gold foil lettering.you may be overlooking your one per box French Variation base parallels.they say
"Variant Francais" in the lower grey left corner where the team name would be.other than that welcome to Upper Deck 2021!:groove:

Jersey cards in Hobby Boxes are now every other box - in retail - it is one per box

You should get one French variation per box, the street clothes variations seem to be 1/case. Clear cut/Exclusives/High Gloss parallels seem to be seeding every second or third box. From my case, there was one Clear Cut YG/case, four base Clear Cuts, two French YGs, two exclusives/100.

So for your two boxes, it seems on par for what's in Hobby.

I believe the OP was referring to 19-20 and not 20-21, in which case there were no French variants that year but in any case, the previous responders are correct with what they mentioned about nothing being guaranteed when it comes to jerseys, clear cuts or serial #'s cards.

That sounds about par for the course. Years ago, I bought 6 boxes from the same dealer, 4 were primarily the same...had yg canvas in each, same base, same yg, and I think I had 1 “case break” in the lot. I think that was /100, that is if you don’t count an HG.

That year was the strike shortened year when UD only had S1. I ended up buying 7.5 boxes to make the BASE Set, not including yg...yeah, Luca Sbisa was a tough one to find. I think I have 2 base sets...maybe, if I have 2 Sbisa base cards.

So, just saying, sometimes, they are stacked, sometimes they are stacked the same. Good or bad, maybe you had pulled a triple exposure without knowing it. Those are tough finds that may creep into 19-20 boxes.

I had two 19-20 boxes for xmas and received basically the same- only difference was I got a clear cut YG. The box with the clear cut was good, the other box was fireplace kindling.
