Islanders new 3rd/alternate jersey?

Someone tell Wang it doesnt matter how many times he changes this uniform his team is still terrible. This jersey is ugly to say the least. This team used to have have history and tradition linked to its uniform. Now......whatever uniform they design for the next 6 months is just a bad joke. Get back to the original Isles look. Wayyyyyyy back when they actually were champions. Guys like Potvin, Bossy and Trottier must look at these new "designs" and shake their heads.....

Not a fan of jerseys where the team name is spelled out like that. Only the Rangers can pull that off. At least it's a third and you won't have to see it very often

Wow - That coming from a Canucks fan. 1978 - 1985 were some major ugly jerseys. The ones the Canucks wore when the Dynasty team beat them four straight were god awful.

Canucks had one bad jersey. The Isles have only had 1 decent jersey. And i would take the "V" Canucks jersey every day over the Gorton Fisherman jerseys...

Other than the 1995 - 1998 fiasco, they have only changed sleeve colour placement. They have had an orange third jersey that they wore at home on Saturday nights. Otherwise the original crest and colours.

Islanders Third Jersey

Watching the highlights tonight I noticed the Isles were wearing some new third jerseys (new to me at least). Here's a link

I think it's better than their Captain Highliner jerseys from years past, but I'm still not impressed.

What does everyone else think? I know there are a few other third jerseys debuting this year, anyone have any favourites.

Dont like them at all...why would they use gray? I would have made the very front orange and the top portion dark blue. Still not as bad as the Dallas 3rd Jersey from 03-04.
