ITG History of Hockey is live

I wonder if this will inspire some of the people who have been crapping on the release, before it was release, to utilize their right to remain silent.

Here's another seller who just listed a bunch: mystlsportscards.

Does anyone know the "print runs" for the "regular" buyback cards?

When I created the database for the "virtual pack" project, I calculated the number of duplicate copies of each card in the set. However, I realized that the ITG Buyback cards weren't specific regarding what particular card was being bought back. So (for instance) there may be two Dave Andreychuk cards listed from 02-03 BAP Sig Series, but as of now, there's no way of knowing if it's two base set autographs, or an auto and a memorabilia card, or two different memorabilia cards.

My speculation, based on my limited knowledge of the checklists and the older products, is that all the ITG Buyback cards are unique.

Ouch, that's painful just looking at.

I would still take a below average (if you can even call it that) break of this product over a below average break of the Cup or Dominion any day of the week. He was already able to sell five cards out of this break for at least $14.99.

When looking on eBay for break results, take into account that many of the breakers are keeping the best cards for their personal PC's.

We have been getting emails all morning from collectors/vendors telling us that they have busted their boxes kept the cards they wanted and put the rest on eBay.

You might not see as many Original Art/Memo Cards on eBay as you might think.

I love how the 12 box guy has no idea who Ron Sutter, Yvon Cournoyer and Dave Babych are. Seriously?

But hey, at least he recognized Gretzky..... ;)

Ok, I know it's not the show and tell section, however, I think posting my first of 4 box breaks is appropriate given the discussion:

First card: Between the Pipes 2 colour jersey - Darren Pang

Second card: 80-81 OPC RC - Steve Tambellini

Third card: 80-81 buyback auto - Don Murdoch

Last card: Vintage 'Vezina's Final Game' /10 Featuring GU Vezina skate - Verrrrry cool

I think you definitely have to look at this set (and box break) as a whole. I won't be in a rush to move the Vezina card as I've always wanted something of his (and it's always been out of my price range.)

The overall card presentation is really nice and the auto'd card is in excellent condition. Tambellini rookie has soft corners, however, I'm ok with that :). The Vezina card itself is a beautiful card. The artistry adds to the appeal of the overall set.

I'll post the other results in the S&T section (unless there is a rediculous hit in there, then I'll post in EVERY section).

It's pretty fun to see a card which I actually suggested to Dr.Price (I may not be the only one who suggested this?)

The Save - Kirk McLean against Robert Reichel in SC-94
I don't collects anything but my 2 PC-players but there are some art cards I may ending up to buy those cards....especially the Bure and Richter one!
