Even though Roy/Brodeur will be popping up like crazy, I would have to go with that.

Brule/Penner would be my last choice

Wow, lots of possibility there. Brodeur/Roy is a pretty easy choice, but some other nice ones could be Lemieux/Sakic, Kane/Tavares, or Sundin/Forsberg. Me personally being a Wings fan, I'd do Osgood/Datsyuk or Ovechkin/Datsyuk

Personally, I'd beg Doc P to make an exception and let you have Trevor Linden (assuming he still has parts of the jerseys he used in 2000-01 and 03-04 left) / Cody Hodgson...it's the perfect card for every Oilers fan

Realistically...O'Sullivan / Gagner would be neat as an Oilers fan, but is Paddy there for the long term?

Lots of good combos there. Tavares/Lemieux, Roy/Brodeur (obviously) but I might go out on a limb and do Datsyuk/Sakic. They play very similar and there just isnt enough Datsyuk stuff out there Whoever you chose, it'll be nice

How about Hodgson/Tavares, Kane/Tavares or Tavares/Stamkos. I like the last one because you'll likely have two consecutive #1 overall picks.

For me, I would go with a Gagner Voracek but thats just me.

But a

Lemieux or Ovie w/ Roy or Brodeur would be nice. One of the great forwards along with one of the great goalies.

To me, I'd use it to create something that hasn't been done 100 times or won't, in the future be done 100 times.

For example, we've seen hundreds of pieces of Roy and Brodeur, so getting those two would be a waste because you can pick one of those up easily.

Similarly, I'd avoid Tavares with anyone because you know that as of next year, UD will do Tavares/Sakic or Tavares/Lemieux.

Looking down the list though, I don't think (and please correct me if I'm wrong) we have or would see a Kane/Lemieux because there are so many differences between the two, between Chicago and Pittsburgh never being rivals, playing two different styles etc.

At the same time, there is a connection because they were both #1 picks.
