I still always enjoy checking in on show n tells here on the HI forums and usually I like to post my pickups too. But this summer has been a really busy one and it’s been a while since I last showed off some cards. So here’s what Ive picked up in 2019 so far. Once again, a lot of Iginla!
Start off with some Splendor, Johnny and Jarome
Valimaki Rainbow with the Golden Treasures 1/1
This Marty Gelinas was surprisingly a very difficult card to find, and I payed a lot more than I ever expected to. But very happy to finally acquire it
Vernon BAP Auto. Another tough find
Iginla Mask Collection Rainbow & UD Specialist /100
Half a dozen Gio 5/5 jersey numbered beauties
Flames Quad Tags
Iginla UD Game Jersey color rainbow
Backlund SPGU RC 1/1 that completes the rainbow
Iggy Rbk seam
And how bout that golden assist that nobody talks about!

And now on to the top five!
5. I decided to check my Cup pc of Iginla and started pulling out all the Signature Patches and Limited Logos I owned. Then I found out I was missing only one card and that was the 07-08 Signature Patches. Turns out Al (Uhtred the Viking) had a few copies, and he was happy to move one to me! We often try and swap Iginla doubles for our collections and its always great chatting with him about “everything Iginla cards” haha. So here’s what they all look like together. Thanks again Al!
4. Iginla/Fleury Black Diamond booklets
Before Iginla, Theo was my favourite player. And it is very rare to find cards of these two players together. So these were a must have! I’ve owned the jersey version for a while, but earlier this year I was able to finally add the patch version as well
3. Lanny Chronology Diamond Auto 9/9 (jersey number!)
I just got this one in yesterday. What more could you ask for? This card checks all the boxes! And it’s gotta be my new favourite Lanny card in my collection
2. Iginla 97-98 Spx Force Auto /100
This one was a card I’d watched on eBay for a long time, and I always felt like the price was too high with no offer option. Eventually eBay had a nice 20% off deal on, and I scooped it up earlier this year. Thrilled to finally have it!
And finally!
The big one that just arrived this morning and inspired the show n tell!
1. 18-19 SPA Sign of the Times 4 with Iginla, McDonald, Gilmour, & Fleury /10
This card was a must have when I saw it on the checklist. My first card with both Iginla and Fleury autos on it. Not sure there are any other Autos of the two together. This one came all the way from Finland and its easily one of my top 10 cards in all my Iggy pc!
