I have been taking a break from collecting since maybe September or so, as I am having a very busy & stressful year in my campus department. Plus, I couldn't care less about the McDavid hype & all the McDavid posts. I haven't really traded or bought anything online in a while, but when it comes to great deals or trades with great people, I really can't be 100% absent from this hobby. Thus, here is what I've been able to pick up since September.
Got this in a nice 1-for-1 trade with urbanmonk, as I had a Modano extra that he needed, & we're always helping each other out on the collections. Dwight is truly one of the closer friends I enjoy trading with within our community.

This last one I purchased from Cyril (cmcdonald1) on Hobby Insider, as I've been looking for one for a long time and he gave me a great deal on it, since he's moving his Nuke PC. Cyril is another one of my favorites that I have grown to respect & cherish in this community. He is an amazing man.
Val Nichushkin Young Guns Acetate RC
This past Thanksgiving holiday, my wife & I went to Dallas for a game & to visit my folks. I was able to purchase a game-used Val Nichushkin stick and I brought it to Stars practice with me in hopes of getting it signed. I was successful in my quest, and I was also lucky enough to snag a game style puck signed by Tyler Seguin!
You can see in these provided pictures the (somewhat) photo-matched stick that Val used and me getting the actual stick signed during practice.
So that's it. Not a long post, and certainly not a huge haul by any means, but it's stuff that is keeping me happy during a time when I am needing to recharge my batteries. We're about to be off for 2 weeks due to the Christmas break, so maybe I'll be around a little more to see what kind of trouble I can get into.
