I just pulled a beauty of a Jagr card from Stature. It's a blue version hard signed-auto and only numbered to /5. My dilemma is do I try and sell as is (which they are selling very well even as a redemption) or redeem and take my chances I"ll get it in a few months??

I've recently had issues selling redemption cards on Ebay where buyer claims the card was already redeemed. Don't want to take chances with this card. Any insight/suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks, Steve

Test the waters on HI or where you know the persons info before you sell... If you dont want to do ebay. Or if you have comc might give that a shot. If you get less money but no headaches it might be worth it

Now would be the time to sell, specially as Jagr's stock has risen a lot in recent months. Source? Me, a 25-year collector of Jagr. However, I personally believe the market will course correct in the coming months and prices will dip somewhat. If you redeem now you risk missing the window of people paying silly Jagr prices once you have it in-hand.

The good news is he tends to return his cards, so there is a very good chance this will be redeemable for his auto shoukd you decide to hold onto it.
