Just saw it on ESPN. He says he wants more money thinking he's a top 5 reciever in the league. I think he has a valid point considering he's not even getting a Million this year. Packers fans-Thoughts?

Man this is old news...but a contract is a contract and one year does not make a premiere receiver out of him. Do it again in back-to-back years, then look for the big $$$.

Oh, I didn't realize. I just turned on ESPN just earlier today and saw Walker being interviewed about it as well as Greeny talking about it.

A contract appears to be a non-binding document in the Sports Community. I sign a contract and I am required by law to hold myself to that contract. Is he required by his contract to appear at these mini-camps? If so he should penalized, period. I don't think he is in the top 5 skill wise. He is skilled but not that skilled. Personal opinion.

Favre ripped him in the Green Bay media. Rosenhaus said its easy for him to talk when he's making 11 million a year.
I'm guessing if walker can maybe a top five in his position all time he should get more money too.
Just wonder what his numbers look like if Craig Nall is the quarterback and not Favre.

You mean Aaron Rodgers. I think Walker is definetely in the top 10 and deserves money.

i can understand walkers side, he had an amazing year with 89 catches, 1300 yds and 12 TD's, whehter or not he deserves more money remains to be seen, he needs to prove he can do it year in and year out, put him on a team with a bad running game and does he get that good of stats, who knows??? as for favre making 11 million a year, he did not enter the league and start making 11 million a year, he earned it and favre is worth every penny, he leaves everything on the field and is always focuseed on the game and nothing else, but i think what makes the nfl a good financial system with no guaranteed contracts is also the downside of it as well, as players will hold out to get a contract and earn that cash for a year or two and then their play falters and then the contract is terminated and they are released, so they made their cash while they could,i think if there were guaranteed contracts, salaries would not be so high, in the end he should be at any camp he is asked to come to, he is still under contract, and i think it is this stupid agent causing the trouble, he is the agent for owens, boldin and walker all holding out at the moment, but WR's are a premium in the league and there are lots out there
