This guy has had this coming for a long time, but I'm glad that the WWE finally decided to give Jeff Hardy his first run with the WWE title. I've always liked the guy and was glad that he fought off his demons. Hopefully this is a long run...if Triple H and his ego lets him.

Great to see my 2nd Fave WWE Superstar (Kofi Kingston #1 hahahaha) win the Championship. I think he'll get the Randy Orton storyline where Orton was with whatever the Faction was called wth Flair, Bastista and HHH

Hell yeah, way to go for MGMT for believing in Jeff Hardy finally, I hope he keeps his stuff together and succeed's, nice to come home to news like this!

I say he will keep the title till the rumble and drop it there. I think that the big ups feel he is great but headlining mania is just not in the plans for him.

I guess I'm the only one disappointed. The guy just doesn't do it for me. He's less than functional on the mic and average in the ring. Glad to see the spot-monkey get pushed while MVP toils in mediocrity.

The spot monkey has also been around for 15 years almost now and mvp only 3 or 4!

Exactly. He was great way back when, but he's just tired now. Don't get me wrong, I think the 1st two TLC matches rank in the top 5 matches of all time, but I think the Hardy's already had their time in the spotlight. I'd rather see some new blood with a title reign.

I for one am glad that Hardy finally got gold. It will be shortlived of course as Triple HHH needs how many more title wins to surpass the Nature Boy??

I don't mind the fact that Jeff won the title, it's a nice change and it's been a long time coming, what gets me is that HHH is to much of an egomaniac that he couldn't drop the belt to Jeff, instead he loses it to a tougher opponent in Edge and has Edge drop it to him. By the way there is no way this title run lasts past No Way Out, as there is no chance in J. Hardy being the Main Event at Wrestlemania 24. Just my opinion.

I guess 10 and 15 are the same number (he debuted in 1998).

Also, MVP is 5x the wrestler and far, far better on the mic. He and Kendrick should be getting pushed instead. Just how I feel, but as long as the kiddies drive Vince's profits, guys like Jeff & Cena will hold the top spots.

actually I think he ment all around Jeff Hardy has been a pro since 1994, I do agree totaly with you in the fact that guys are given pushes that do not deserve, I am also sick of a new champ every few weeks. What ever happend to those long title holds. I miss the days when guys would hold the belt for 6 months to a year

I believe he and Matt's only "pro" experience before the WWF/E was in OMEGA wrestling and they created that. I stand by my statement that he's been a true pro for 10 years, not 15 as previously stated.

It doesn't matter when he debuted, he wrestled before he got in the wwf/e too! So yeah 15 years, cause he was in independent wrestling as well!

and if your gonna base it on that then Ric Flair, Undertaker, Hogan, Sting, etc etc haven't been around for as many years as "everyone says" they have!

Taker says he's been around 15+ years. He's talking about his WWF service (Debuted in 1991). Sting, Hogan and Flair all are usually recognized from their time in the AWA/NWA well before their respective WWF/WCW runs.

For the most part, when guys say they've been around X number of years, they refer to their start in a major promotion.
