I was reading about this earlier in the week.
On one hand you can understand it, he beat Gustafsson so lets move on, but on the other hand it was a real close fight and Gustafsson is still the number one contender.

Dana White wants that fight to happen but Jones isn't interested.

Although I'd love to see DC vs Jones, I think Gus vs Jones is first and let DC take the winner (pretty sure DC needs knee surgery though)

Tough call but Jones should fight Gus.

totally agree! Jones seams to like picking his spots. Gustovsson was the most even fight he has ever had and he almost lost and took a beating. Maybe he is a bit of a chicken... I really like seeing him fight similar built guys so his reach is not such an advantage....

"I'm going to fight Glover and I will answer all the critics about the Gustafsson fight. I will fight Gustafsson after I fight Glover. I won the fight but I look at it as a blemish on my record because some people think I didn't. I promise you, he will be next."

PROMISE.

Bones is not scared. He has fought 21 times professionally, if he was scared it would have shown long ago. Maybe he is not looking forward to fighting Gus again but at the same time, DC has been calling him out a lot. I would prefer seeing him take out Cormier first but either matchup is fun.

It's not like he was calling out a scrub instead of Gus, he was calling out DC. I think Jones just wanted more money. And if he got it, good for him.

It likely did come down to money. They signed the fight so five bucks says Bones got a nice little raise for this next fight. I still think he will win against either Gus or DC but if he gets paid more, more power to him.
