It won't be here for a week or three I suspect, based on where it's coming from and the seller's request for a MO, but hearty thanks to Langway05 (Brian), who hooked me up with what has without a doubt been the whitest of my whales... he found it, put me in touch with the shop owner and gave him my email addy - all above and beyond... and very much appreciated. Some "finder's fees" cards you'll dig are in the mail to you tomorrow, Brian, and I'm jazzed that I'll be taking a break from the hobby in fine style.

I promise to post a mailday when it arrives, to include the rest of the set it completes! I'll also be making a submission to Al for Mission Accomplished in a future Beckett!

Well, IMO when it arrives it's going to make for a Super Star kinda of mail! And to see it with it's brethren, will just be icing on the cake! :D

Yup, I did, Jim... limited to /48, it was ridiculous to find one, much less swing a deal for it. The dealer Brian hooked me up with (Wayne's Sports Cards in Edmonton) was fair about it and didn't try to make me his prison bride, which made the deal do-able, even if he wasn't able to take trade for it with what he'd had for cash invested.

Anyway, thanks for the replies, thanks to Brian, (who has a nice 6-pack of cards heading his way in thanks), and stay tuned for the mailday, which'll take a few weeks, but be worth it (for me anyway!!!).
