Just want to say thank you...a realization

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone that makes this site what it is! After being a member here for quite some time I have come to realize that a better group of collectors, hobby enthusiasts, sports fans, etc. simply does not exist. I have joined many other boards but have been very disappointed each and every time. My main reason for joining them was obviously not leave HI behind, but to try to get into football and baseball card collecting as those sports are just ever so slightly below hockey as far as my fandom. Those boards aren't exactly overwhelmingly popular here However I always find myself making a couple posts then getting bored extremely fast, even with the hockey. I have come to the conclusion my love for hockey cards is not because of the sport itself or the look of cards compared to other sports, it's because of the people here on Hobby Insider.

Other sites don't have the comradery per se, as HI. Everyone here treats each other with the utmost respect and new members are welcomed with open arms. People here are a different breed. HI'ers go above and beyond to help one another, however crazy the request may be.

Hobby Insider sets the bar extremely high, other sites should be looking here to see how this wonderful hobby should be. So thank you mods, owners, past owners, and every member on here for making Hobby Insider the best forum on the net!

Terific thread. I whole-heartedly agree with detroitfan - this site is 2nd to none and one we recommend to all our customers.

This place is home to us. We try them all and always know where home is... HERE!

I just have to look at all the true friends i have made from this site.

Thanks for Detroitfan to start this thread because I know I am guilty of taking this site for granted....

I have to agree as well. I find there is a sense of community here until most other boards I've been on.

I'd have to agree with this thread. I have made some very good friends and many acquaintances on here. If it were not for these boards, I would have never known many of you guys/collectors. I love when it comes to Expo time and someone will come up to the table and read my Hobby Insider Lanyard and say to me, aren't you that crazy dude on the Hi boards. That makes me smile. I have friends all across the country and the USA. Even a few overseas..

So to all of you. Thanks for being good people. Cardboardnerdizm Represent!
