Kadri at my house and 401 for the NHL Player of the Day Contest

Hey,

Glad to see some of the guys came out for the Nazem Kadri Signing at 401 on Sunday as part of the Panini NHL Player of the Day Contest Grand Prize.

Before the signing Kadri came to my house for a BBQ and some NHL '11. He was really nice the whole day and spoke to everyone and the party and signed a bunch of autographs. I personally got a nice jersey signed (I'll post a pic later).

We took limo ride down to 401 and interviewed Kadri for the Panini website so I'm sure that will be up soon.

Part of the prize was $250 to spend at 401. I busted a box of Zenith and Luxury Suite, and actually got Kadri to open up some of the pack with me.

Some of the highlights from the LS box were:

Vincent Lecavalier Stick (3CLR) and Number /50
Mike Smith Stick (2CLR) and Number (4CLR) /50
Johnny Bower Auto /50
Keith Primeau Gold Auto /10

The guys from Panini actually got CTV and LEAFS TV to come and cover the event.

CTV did a piece Sunday night and LEAFS TV put up this video yesterday which sums up the whole day.

Very, very cool story Joel! I actually saw it on one of the leafs message boards I frequent.

Looks like a great time! Man is kadri small though eh... He's a twig! I would have made sure to stuff him at the BBQ, he could use another 10-15 lbs!

Watched the video, Naz seems like a real laid back kind of guy, must have been a sweet day for the memory books! Nice Lindros collection by the way!
