Kansas City Chiefs LB kills himself outside stadium

Crazy but what a loser for shooting his GF first. I feel bad for the GF family, their kid that they had, and the the GM and coach for having to experience that.

wow.. what an insane set of circumstances for all the parties involved to go through. Personally I think the NFL should have cancelled the game.

Agreed in full, it's situations like this where it is crystalized how truly insignificant sports is, and the fact that they're going on with the game seems not right to me.

Certainly the game shouldve been cancelled. It just shows you how much the almighty dollar rules these days......

It would be impossible to get the game in between now and the end of the season. Football is not like other sports when it comes to this. If they didnt reschedule games in NY after hurricane Sandy their was no chance they would do that now. I can only remember 1 time games were postponed and that was after Sept 11

Before anyone goes and pisses on Goodell, The CHIEFS were the ones who decided to play the game today. They had a meeting again last night at 8:30 CT and the team said they wanted to play today.

I heard another report saying that the Captain asked for them to delay the game and the NFL said, "No". Sounds like some players are struggling with this but perhaps the 2 people that saw the suicide wanted to play?

On another note....

Browns also dealt w tragedy yesterday when team discovered an employee committed suicide by hanging himself in the equipment shed at the facility. Sad, sad day
