Kevin Bieska trade to the Anaheim Ducks

I'll miss him, more for the good work that he did with Mindcheck.ca as the Rypien golf tourney compared to the 34 year old d-man making 4.6.

A) I'm disappointed that we couldn't get a better 2nd round pick (like SJ's) for him, but after the gong show that was draft day, I don't think that the Canucks will deal much with Doug Wilson.

B) Now, 4.6 free cap space - let's not blow it on Sbisa. Oh &@*# never mind.

C) Apparently, the Ducks are announcing his extension tomorrow - that will be a 35+ contract - interesting to see how long it's for.

D) Getzlaf, Perry, Kesler, Bieksa - PAIN IN THE #$%

E) Seriously, do the Ducks want Sbisa back?

Like I said on Twitter, there is only one good thing I see out of this from a personal, and biased, standpoint: Corrado might actually stick with the big club now.

I'm confused why the Ducks did this, but I guess the veteran depth doesn't hurt. Wonder what this means for Beauchemin.

It's Corrado's (or Clendening's) show now. He will be missed but he had a run longer than anyone ever expected. But man why the Ducks fer cryin out loud!

My only Canuck related disappointment with the trade is that the Canucks didn't make the the Decks take Sbisa back.
