Khabibulin Patch /39 Steal? and possible Triple SOTT Steal for someone here...

Also, I bet someone here will be upset at me for posting this to everyone, but I really have no clue if any of us saw it. I was going to go for it, but I'm gonna save up some of my $ to finish off some sets. It's already over $100 so it's tough to call it a "steal", but the BV price is $600 and I haven't seen one of these in a loooooong time. You would only find it on eBay if you searched "SOTT", "Triple", or "Auto". Maybe if you searched "!!!!!!" it would come up too

He could've fit at least 10 more characters instead of all those exclamation marks and the unnecessary "WOW". Take out the year and he probably would've been able to fit all 3 players.

Well before it was posted here last night, the auction had only been looked at around 80 times in 6 days...check the counter now.

Although steal - with multiple time left is an oxymoron - I seriously doubt that this auction was going un-noticed!!

Sweet Khabby patch. I actually saw it before it was posted here, and passed on it. I just realized now all the real bargains aren't always with the "Going, Going Gone" search but the "Newly Listed" as well

Whoever buys the triple auto will be pretty happy with it, no doubt

Actually, if you look really closely, you can see a tiny smidge of black in there. Either way, very sweet pickup. Congrats.

As far as that triple SOTT goes, I think my heart skipped a beat when I saw that...

I may have had ya, but I wouldn't have won. Not to keen on the black ink on those cards. I was only at $276.76. It's already above that. The only one I'd take the black ink on for the triple would be the one Dave has.

I like the blue ink on my triple better than the black ink on this one.

Just a question though, does the ink look that poor in hand or is it just the scan? I know that the blue ink on mine is much more clear in person...

That would be because the Black Ink fades with time and the blue usually does not.

I do not have the link at work - but there is a 01/02 SPX Yzerman Tribute Auto up for auction right now and the black ink looks absolutely awful!!!! maybe someone with a few minutes can find it and post the link.

The black ink on the triple was one of the deciding factors for me on bidding for the triple. Again sorry guys if you thought you would get steals. FYI, I had a snipe of $225.51 since I recently sold my PSA Lemieux and had extra cash.

I hope the winning bidder is not on this Board....... cause he seruiously overpaid for that card with that auto on it!!!!!!
And yes it looks like Yzerman's pen ran out in the middle of siging!!!! Of course - that has to be one of the HIGHEST valued Auto cards for the stated print run that I have ever seen!!!! ( Stated Print Run :19 versions of #/19 = 361 cards)
