Khabibulin's new mask- Tribute to Fuhr

Apparently this is his new mask. I don't know if I like it but it's growing on me. Probably will look good when he is wearing it, especially with hte vintage jersey.

Pretty slick IMO. Nice to see him pay a little tribute to some of the Oilers history while keeping his own style in there as well with the wall and eagle.

He also added the Oil derrick and took out the clock thing he had on the front. I don't think he'll ever get rid of the Eagle as that is the Eagle from the Russian flag or something like that.

As for the flamers, hard to light up a goalie who has had their number since the 04-05 playoffs. I sense the tradition will undoubtedly continue!

I think it looks nice although don't always assume it was the player that decided what to put on there. The mask guru somtimes injects his own thoughts onto the goalie if the goalie is unsure of what he wants.
