Bob Mackenzie reported a 1 year deal and someone else said it was for $1.5 mil. Pretty good imo. Wanted him in Columbus and he had interest in them but Columbus didn't have much cap space. Oh well.
Interesting.
So, what happens if/when the NHLPA wins its grievance case against the Richards contract termination?
And what about Voynov? Are the Kings going to try and get out of that one too? At least they have a leg to stand on there; Voynov pleaded no contest and served some time.
But, we have to keep in mind, Richards hasn't even been charged with anything.
So, if the NHLPA wins the Richards case, and Voynov comes back on the books, the Kings are wayyyyyy over the cap.
Am I missing some news that sheds light on this?
