As a knick fan, im curious to know how far do you guys think the knicks will get this year with larry brown? I've heard people crazy enough to say that they'll make the championships. What do you guys think? (yeah i know, their roster is a mess)
I hope they get rid of marbury, and get a real point guard in there.

Marbury is a hell of a point guard. Thing about him is he'd probably be better off at the 2 if he was a bit taller. Kinda like Steve Francis. I don't think they need a 'better' point guard, but rather a change in roster that fits team chemistry. If that means moving Starbury, then so be it. But I wouldn't move him based on his abilities.

Did you just say Marbury a bad point guard. What the heck is the matter with you. O, i guess being second in the league in assists isn't good enough, He has to be the best to be a point guard. If Marbury would have some better scorers to pass too, maybe they would actually make it to make his passes turn into assists. How can you be a knick fan and not like the best player on the team. If they need to get rid of anybody, it would have to be Houston or Penny.

The Finals? LOL who said that? :p They don't even have a decent C or PF, unless you see Jerome James as the future of the centers in the NBA. Sweetney could turn out to be a second Zach Randolph, but even then I don't see them getting past the first round if they meet the Heat, Pacers or Pistons.

Larry Brown is a great coach and did go all the way with the pistons in 04, but I really cant see this happening with the Knicks. There team consist of a ton of over paid players. And even with Marbury and Qrich they still don’t have any good big men. Maybe they will make the playoffs, but they wont go very far.

Knicks and Larry Brown may not workout well. I kinda agree with what NoFly said about the players but it all comes down to if they work as a team. If the ball is spreaded out more, they could go very far in the playoffs. Obviously it has worked in Detroit and almost has when he was with the Sixers. It will come down to time and patience.
