Two league sources told ESPN Insider Chad Ford that New York has traded Nazr Mohammed and Jamison Brewer to the Spurs for Malik Rose and a first-round pick.


Knicks added alot of salary

the spurs are trying to stack up the front line, trading rasho instead would keep them where they are, as much as i like maliks energy, he isnt near the defensive presence as rasho is, this just gives them another big body at center so td can stick to the pf instead of having to move to the center when malik or horry came in, i think its a good trade

I think both sides got what they needed.
THe 1st round pick definitely makes it worth it for the Knicks.

i loved Nazr and hated to see him go, they spurs will be pleases with him. As for Brewer, lol...............
