After seeing all of the beautiful President’s Choice cards in the Dryden thread, I figured I would show off the President’s Choice cards in my collection. They are primarily Olaf Kolzig cards, with a couple of other Caps goalies mixed in.
Thank you to Dr. Price for your willingness to take requests and work with collectors to put some amazing cards in my collection and many others.
First up – a Semyon Varlamov Patch and Michal Neuvirth Stick Handle from Best in Net. I knew there were going to be Kolzig cards in the Best in Net series, but I was pleasantly surprised to find these two as well.
Now on to the Kolzig show!
Two Stick Rack 1/1s
A trio of Puck Stoppers Stick cards – 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3
I missed out on the opportunity to grab a pack inserted Made to Order redemption, so I jumped at the chance to make up for it.

And a recently completed trifecta of Version B MTOs – Washington, All-Star and Team Germany

When Dr. Price asked for player suggestions for Solitaire I jumped in with Kolzig. I was looking forward to the release to chase down the Hi-Lites card, and even more excited about the product when I found out there were a handful of other Kolzig cards. I have been able to pick up five of the six Kolzig cards – just missing the Capitals quad memorabilia.
HI-Lites 1/1, Game Used Memorabilia Silver 1/1, Red 1/1, Gold 1/1 and Jumbo Memorabilia 1/1, all with beautiful swatches from Nike hockey pants worn with Team Germany.
Finally, a card that instantly became one of my favorite cards, the Kolzig Equipped 1/1. The huge rubber logo piece of game used Team Germany Nike pants is like nothing else I have in my collection!
