THE Niklas Hjalmarsson Super Collector, Verified T
Been a fairly quiet December for mail, hence why I haven't shown anything off in a while. Stay tuned for my top 10 of 2020, coming very shortly!
First up, this one was acquired purely to be a trader, as I got a fantastic deal on it. I believe it was just pulled a couple weeks ago...amazing that big cards like this are still out there waiting to be opened!
In case it wasn't apparent, it's a High Gloss /10!
Next, can't have a year-ending mail post without some Hjalmarsson, right?!
Three more Signature Sensations auto for my mini hoard; I now have seven in hand!
This next one came via Blowout for a great price along with a Slavin YG Canvas (no need to scan it since it's a double). Over the last year or so, I've learned that if I see a High Gloss of my players for a good price, I'm grabbing it!
And the last Hjalmarsson addition for 2020 (and the last card to arrive of the year! Well...I guess I have not checked my mail today, so maybe that's false, LOL)...I was floored when I first heard this card was going to happen, as at the time Hjalmarsson did not have a single autograph card (the Signature Sensations cards came out just before Chronology was released, unfortunately).
Not only is it his first and only hard-signed autograph card, but it will likely be the only autograph card (during his playing career anyway) featuring him with the Blackhawks!!!
Still so surreal this happened! It took a while to actually acquire one, as they were selling for much more than I wanted after release (like $15-20 USD...WHY?!?! Who else could possibly want these? LOL), but I finally landed this copy on Facebook. I do have a few more copies incoming and luckily those do not have ink splatters all over the place (come on, Nik!).
And finally, had been anxiously waiting for this one for a few weeks by the time it showed up (it was domestic, hence why I was getting antsy after around three weeks). I got a really good deal on this and was really hoping I would be able to land one of these cards. Y'all know how much I love Stature, and getting a red auto is basically the perfect option for a Hawk!
