Detroit vs. New York; and San Francisco verses St. Louis. After watching the Cards get past the Nats tonight I can't help but feel that St. Louis doesn't beat teams; but teams find a way to lose against the Cardinals.

Game 1 of the ALCS set for later today: Doug Fister will take the mound opposite Andy Pettitte.

The Yankees only have one Raul Ibanez to save them. Most everyone else is hitting really poorly. I think the Tigers are in the driver's seat in this one.

Gaints with a convincing 7-1 victory tonight. Ryan Vogelsong pitched very well tonight.

Justin Verlander is the best pitcher in baseball. He leads the Tigers to 2-1 victory. And the Tigers are one win away from the World Series.

Well the Tigers cap off an absolutely dominating series sweep of the Yanks. First time the New York has been swept in a series in nearly forty years.

And the World Series is set. The comeback kids; the San Francisco Giants dominate St. Louis in game 7 winning 9-0. Earning a date with the Detroit Tigers.
