Hope everyone is doing well out there and staying safe!
Since now the hockey market has gone crazy recently in particular, figured it may be a decent time to show what I have managed to snag not knowing what direction I may take this moving forward.
Few months ago I started collecting graded rookies of older players that I liked growing up or are HOF/legends. Plenty more I would like to add, but will definitely be more selective on pricing and who I just decide to skip on completely for the time being.
Will jump right in with two non-hockey cards. For the people following these...what the heck just happened in the last week?? oh man I started a mini Tiger 2001 collection mostly since he has a lot of cheap inserts during his 2001 "rookie card" year that will be cool in a binder to flip through so I also got these to anchor it, but damn have these blown up out of nowhere. I was hoping to pick up an autograph at some point, but that can be on hold with the current prices haha. Will probably keep one long term, but am curious to see what his stuff does when his HBO documentary comes out and may make one available at that point.
The hockey pick ups will kind of be everywhere, so I will start with the BGS goodies as I am leaning towards PSA anything Pre-1990 and am good with BGS for anything more recent, if possible.
Some stuff that is still incoming or stuck at COMC that I may get in hand a year for now at their pace :foottap:
Would definitely like a BGS 9.5 or a PSA version of this one but am happy to have snagged this one a couple days ago

I am not really looking for anything 2000 and beyond, but Gaborik was my favorite player growing up so I will definitely be interested in anything of his.
Black Diamond Rc that is incoming
other 90's rookie cards, I had never seen the Briere but thought it was a cool card. Would definitely like to upgrade the Gabby's but those have been in my PC forever so they aren't going anywhere anyways

and to move straight into PSA from here, starting with a few more that are incoming or came since I took the group pictures a couple of days ago
Thought the Premier Rc was going to come back to earth....guess not hahah so this will have to do for now
some that were solid pickups with hope of upgrading one day to 10's

will definitely be looking for an upgrade, but it's a cool card for my Kings PC too

couple randoms that were at good prices, few more i'd like to get as 10's
90's goodies with an 89 too
some nice Topps 80's PSA 9's. I think this is the direction my PC may be going with trying to collect Topps 9's instead of OPC only or anything like that
Couple nice Stevie Y's and a Hull
Speaking of OPC 9's...some nice ones I am happy to have especially the Lucky Luc. Would like to find a Topps 9 Robitaille at some point too to go with it
A cool Topps PSA 10 of a 500 goal scorer is always welcome in my PC
And we will close it out with a few of my favorites. probably could have skipped the group picture with the Yzerman Topps 9 down here too, buuuut here we goooo :beer:

Roy Topps 8, I was going to try for an OPC 8 too after but these are shooting up too and looks like I waited too long. Definitely happy to have this one though, whenever I can get it in hand haha
Dionne OPC 8oc - I bought this one when I was just starting to search for graded rookies and definitely overpaid considering the OC designation, but it's still an awesome card to have in my PC and is by far the oldest card here
To close everything out, a Mario Topps 8. Another that I was about to grab in a Topps 9 or OPC 8 and just overnight shot up so this will have to do haha
